California Pay Data Reporting

California Pay Data Reporting

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (EDT)

Private employers with 100 or more employees, who are required to file an annual Employer Information Report (EEO-1) pursuant to federal law, and have at least 1 employee that resides in or reports to work in California, are required to submit the new pay data report to California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) by March 31, 2021. In addition to the previously-released FAQs, which DFEH has been updating periodically, California just released on February 1, 2021, its User Guide, Excel data template, and CSV example that will guide organizations to query their internal databases and format the information for an electronic upload to the pay data portal, which is expected to go live on February 16, 2021. Please join us for a web seminar to discuss the framework of the data submission, the User Guide, the Excel and CSV examples, and any questions you may have about the mechanics of the filing. Please note: all questions will need to be submitted through the Q&A portal on the web seminar; all participant lines will be muted.
